Part 2.

Life is hard for Lockie:

After reading the second part of the book I still think the story is a bit sad. Lockie did become popular when he got together with Vicki but this hasn’t really made him happy.  He is more unhappy than he has ever been in his whole life. More unhappy than when he first arrived there, and more unhappy than when he was being bullied.
I think Lockie might still run away from home as his parents aren’t really helping him much.  His mum is too embarrassed to talk to him about sex, and his dad just tries to make jokes about it.  The kids at school did stop bullying him once he became popular which just shows that the school is not doing a very good job protecting the kids. The school should stop ALL kids from being bullied, whether they are popular or not!
In the end I think that Vicki will realize that she is wrong by trying to force Lockie to do things he doesn’t want to do, and I hope that Lockie doesn’t stay sad for ever.
